Blogging (in the 4th dimension) with Homer Simpson

Welcome. This will be the first blog of many blogs to come. How many? Well, many is an elusive number. This is probably because many isn't, after all, a number, but a word. Clearly, this is something that I'll need to work out with many - just not right now.

Beginning a blog is an interesting process. It reminds me, as many things do, of "The Simpsons". Remember that episode where Homer gets stuck in the 4th dimension? That's what starting a blog is like because, in a way, the internet is like space. The internet is like space in that there are people out there, maybe they're listening, maybe they're not and somewhere between the listening and the not listening is a voice, my voice, like (many) other voices, echoing, maybe to the people listening, maybe not.
